Slimline table balance, weighs down to 1g and all the way to 5Kg. An ideal multi-purpose scale for silver, letters, parcels, even food (it weighs in the Avoirdupois ounce used for food). To allow for bulky items, it comes with a large add-on weighing dish. Combined with its super-slimline profile and light weight, it's the ideal table balance for carrying around.

Battery-powered plus a USB cable is included for other power options.

500g weight included so that you can calibrate it and ensure it is always accurate.

COUNTING FUNCTION: can be programmed to 'count' rather than weigh, e.g. weigh a sample batch of 100 beads, press a couple of buttons, now you can pour hundreds (or thousands) of beads onto the scale and it will display the quantity rather than the weight.

Guarantee

10 years. This covers manufacturing faults only, it excludes normal wear and tear, bowls, trays, finishes, clasps, hinges, feet, AC adaptors and batteries; it also excludes being overloaded / dropped (e.g. error messages EEE, 0-Ld, or OUEr). The guarantee is invalid if the scale shows signs of foreign material (e.g. residues of herbs, chemicals, corrosion, spilt tea). After 1 year you must pay the postage both ways.

Inaccurate readings can be fixed by calibrating the scale, this is something that is very easy for you to do yourself with 5Kg of weights (not supplied). Giving inaccurate readings does not mean it is broken - all electronic measuring devices need calibrating every now and again, see .
