Guarantee
10 years. This covers manufacturing faults only, it excludes normal wear and tear, bowls, trays, finishes, clasps, hinges, feet, AC adaptors and batteries; it also excludes being overloaded / dropped (e.g. error messages EEE, 0-Ld, or OUEr). The guarantee is invalid if the scale shows signs of foreign material (e.g. residues of herbs, chemicals, corrosion, spilt tea). After 1 year you must pay the postage both ways.
Inaccurate readings can be fixed by calibrating the scale, this is something that is very easy for you to do yourself with a (not supplied). Giving inaccurate readings does not mean it is broken - all electronic measuring devices need calibrating every now and again, see .
